For a ceremony (& photo time) we can host up to 120 guests when ceremony held within the garden space, or up to 200 guests if holding ceremony on the river bank lawns. For receptions we have a maximum capacity of 70 guests.
We have a large wedding pavilion within the garden space which can hold over 100 guests and we also have the riverbank building which can be used as a wet weather options for your ceremony as well as your reception. Sue can talk you through the options when your visit for a look.
Yes, there is ample parking space here at Paradise Gardens, there are acres of space.
You are welcome to access the gardens the day before your wedding for a rehearsal, and for any setup you wish to do for a reception. You can also access the venue on the morning of the wedding and even the day after to collect your belongings.
Yes, we have a spacious ensuite van in the garden that is readily available for guests.
We have 50 white wedding chairs that are used for the ceremonies and we have several long tables and seating for 70 guests at the river building. We also have 4 large wine tubs on stands for drinks. All of this is complimentary. There are also 4 large garden umbrellas available for hire (4 x $50 each)
The gardens are at their best in spring and autumn, ie. Oct/Nov and March/April are the best times also weather wise.
Yes, for all wedding bookings (ceremony only and receptions) you are able to bring in your own caterer, or self supply your food options and bring your own drinks for guests. We also provide a large urn complimentary for a tea and coffee option.
Ceremonies usually occur between 2pm and 4pm. For a ceremony only booking guests depart by 6pm.
Receptions continue on from the ceremony times above, with guests departing at 9.30pm.
For all ceremony bookings a $100 deposit secures the date. For receptions a 10% deposit secures the booking. Payments are accepted by direct deposit.
The balance of the fee is due by 1 month ahead of the booked date.
Bookings are taken anywhere from 6 months to 2 years ahead.
